Deputy Minister of Economy Behrouz Alishiri announced about establishing of information sector to foreign investment companies which are interested in investing in Iran, the public relations of Organization for Investment Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran Reported.

A company to be titled as " Free Zones Investment Expansion Company " shall be set up in which the Free Zones Organizations, investors in the Free Zones as well as the other persons (Natural or legal, domestic or foreigner) being active in all fields of economic enterprises can have shares of the company participating in an effort to provide a higher investment capacity in the country

New special, economic zones focused on tourism and offering services are to be established to speed up economic growth and increase national income; the Mehr News quoted Hamid Baghaei, the caretaker of the Center for Free, Trade and Special Economic Zones Affairs.

The Persian Gulf island of Kish is hosting for three days (Jan.11-14) an international energy exhibition with 300 Iranian and foreign companies attending, the Mehr news agency reported.
